- Age of Injury Services
This value-added service* on tests scheduled by One Call Medical is offered to all Claims Adjusters, Nurse Case Managers and other customers to provide assistance in determining if the results of the radiology findings are acute, chronic or indeterminate.
In situations where the results are normal/unremarkable or where the patient has had surgery on the injury site in question, aging cannot be determined.

- CEU In-Services
OCM also provides, at no charge, in-services with clinical personnel (Physicians, and/or other clinicians). - Clinical Medical Report Review
OCM also offers a unique service through our EMG product. Each of our network physicians undergoes a stringent credentialing process and is continually monitored using our own proprietary standards that were developed using the American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine (AANEM) Guidelines. This ensures the highest quality provider network.
Each EMG/NCS medical report is reviewed by our clinical staff of Registered Nurses and/or our Neurodiagnostic Medical Advisory panel of physicians for consistent, valid and substantiated data against the HCFA. OCM disallows billed CPT codes that are not consistent with procedures detailed in the corresponding medical report. Not only does this report review lead to an average of 10-15% additional cost savings above our current fee schedule/UCR discounted rates, but it can also lead to reduced costs for treatments that are medically unnecessary.
- Customized Data Mining and Reporting
OCM also has the most enhanced reporting capabilities in the industry. Combined with sophisticated IT system support and design capabilities, OCM is able to provide a full array of general management, cost savings and utilization reports that can be customized to each client’s specific needs.
One Call Medical’s current reporting system can accommodate various customized reports that can be used for data analysis. In the past, we have developed reports to show trends and other measurements that can be used to save costs and increase productivity. These reports can be delivered in the de facto Internet document standard of PDF.
Reports are available on any timeframe required by the customer and at no additional charge.
- Fee Negotiation Services
96% of injured workers referred to One Call Medical are scheduled with a provider in our contracted network. In some situations, though, referring physicians and/or injured workers may require treatment at "out-of-network" providers. In these cases, One Call Medical has formalized a fee negotiation service designed to bring significant value to our customers. This value-added solution offers customers the confidence that OCM will locate quality providers outside of our standard network and negotiate on behalf of you and your clients.
OCM will negotiate the best possible rate for tests scheduled outside of OCM's contracted national provider network. Customers will realize 15% savings on average nationally and our negotiations provide an excellent opportunity to recruit potential providers into our contracted network.
- In-house Training and Support
Through OCM’s extensive local and regional account team, OCM is able to conduct initial training on-site at your offices for all levels of personnel at no cost. In these training sessions OCM addresses the referral, scheduling, billing and medical report processes and
eResponse capability.
Ongoing support is also maintained at a national account level, and on a local claim office level through our national account and regional support team.
