First:
An OCM agent calls the patient within 24 hours
of the referral to schedule a convenient time and location for the
test. |
Second:
Once the injured worker is available by phone, OCM schedules and confirms
the appointment with the patient. |
Third:
OCM then e-mails the physician, and/or nurse case manager with the
specifics of the test. |

Medical Reports:
These reports are transferred electronically in
the form of an e-mail
attachment within 48-72 hours of completion.
Billing
The authorized provider bills OCM once the service
is rendered.
MRI
The HCFA is first reviewed for accuracy. Once
determined, an OCM HCFA
and/or invoice is created and billed to the payor with an additional
copy
of the medical report.
EMG
Upon receipt of the HCFA, the HCFA and medical
report undergo a stringent
medical review process by an EMG board-certified physician.
