What is the purpose of Aging?

Aging of Injury services is available for radiology procedures rendered in NY and FL to provide assistance in determining if the results of the findings are acute, chronic or indeterminate.

How is an Age of Injury requested?

An Age of Injury can be requested by doing one of the following:

• When making a referring to the OCM Customer Contact Center
• Calling 800-872-2875 and speaking to the OCM Customer Service Department
• Sending an e-mail

What is the Turn-Around-Time for an aging request to be completed?

From the time that the request is made to the time that the payer receives the aging report will be 10 business days.
