One Call Medical, Inc. calls upon TelCove to Assist with its Disaster Recovery Business Plan

November 30, 2004 – Parsippany, NJ – One Call Medical, Inc. (OCM), the nation’s largest diagnostic services network, announced that it chose TelCove, a leading provider of business critical telecommunications services to enterprise customers and carriers, to deliver collocation and network services to OCM. These services will enable OCM to build its own disaster recovery protection.

TelCove is providing a SONET ring which redundantly connects One Call Medical’s New Jersey headquarters to its collocation space in TelCove’s Parsippany, New Jersey, central office. The ring will transport OCM’s Voice, Data, and Internet services. One Call Medical’s collocation in the TelCove facility, a duplication of systems in both its New Jersey and California headquarters, serves as a “hot standby” for a complete disaster recovery/business continuity solution. In the event that a disaster would affect either of OCM’s headquarter facilities, its communications services will be live in the TelCove central office, eliminating the potential for any inconvenience to OCM’s customers caused by an interruption in its communications services.
